Jerry is a Business Development consultant who works with Irish companies to target the Irish and UK markets. He started his own specialist recruitment business in 1999. Over the next ten years he learned how to grow a business by automating the business process and empowering staff to develop and generate their own revenue streams. Recruitment is all about sales, and he developed strong sales teams each focused on different market sectors. He has a strong interest in business analysis and strategy, and recommends “The Lean Startup” and “The Business Model Canvas” as model to create value and increase profitability. He is a chartered civil engineer by profession and works as a senior Contracts manager with major building and civil engineering contractors in Ireland and the UK for 16 years before starting his own business.
