Ann worked for Enterprise Ireland in a number of locations and in a number of roles for over 30 years. Her principal role was to identify start-ups with a product or service with export potential. She also worked closely with Community Enterprise Groups who wished to set up Enterprise Hubs in their local areas with the aim of promoting economic activity and entrepreneurship in the wider region. She has a particular interest in promoting entrepreneurship and helping individuals with a business idea to bring it to the next level. Areas she can help include:
- Assist start-ups with the completion of grant applications for state funding
- Assist Community Groups with the completion of applications for state-funded Community Enterprise Centre Schemes for the development of Enterprise Centres within their Communities. Ensure that local development groups address the stand-out issues of importance to the funding organisation involved in the decision-making process.
- Assist start-ups with the development of a clear and meaningful value proposition with a focus on market research.
